Embark on a captivating musical journey with NYCP’s "Legacy and Innovation" 2023-24 season opener, marking the ensemble’s Brooklyn debut. New York Classical Players presents a blend of masterpieces and innovative contemporary compositions, featuring glowing young violinist Sammy Andonian's performance on Schubert's Rondo Brillant. The program includes the premiere of living legend Adler's Concertino No. 4, Beethoven's groundbreaking Grosse Fuge, and Glass's striking minimal work, Quartet Satz. The evening culminates with Beethoven's powerful Serioso, his string quartet Op.95.
